2009 - Paris

The Dogs and The Masters on my canvas are the results of my Chien Quotidien project. It was held during my residence at Cite Des Arts Internationale Paris, september - october 2009. The idea was that the dog can`t hide its emotions and depicts its master much better than any mirror in the world. I also have painted some dogs without masters as well as some people without dogs - the project brief is rather a general idea, than a dogma. All the pictures has more then one real prototype. I've taken some elements of reality and arranged them in a sort of mosaics. Enjoy.
